Digital CCTV bullet cameras a compact addition to smart card entry system
Opening times of stations will be altered in an overhaul of the South Wales police service. Eight main stations will open longer, between 16 and 24 hours a day. They are at Bridgend, Barry, Cardiff Bay, Cardiff Central, Merthyr, Neath, Pontypridd, and Swansea Central. Mobile police stations will be brought in and crimes can be reported and kept track of online. Richard Jones from the Police Federation in south Wales “welcomed any use of IT that frees up police officers”.
Access Control Wales can easily install a smart card entry system that can feature alarms, Visitor Monitoring, Automatic Number Plate recognition and Digital CCTV. CCTV security and surveillance cameras can be indoor or outdoor. Digital CCTV Bullet Cameras are mounted in a cylindrical or bullet casing, hence their name. This makes them easy to install when pointing them in the right direction, and keeps the case compact. Their compact size and inbuilt lens make them ideal for situations where space and price are key factors.
