Plans for redevelopment of fire-hit site set for approval
Plans to redevelop a Swansea site that’s been badly affected by fire are set to move forward, a recent news report in the local business media has been able to suggest.
Lifestyle Dimensions is seeking permission to change the use of the former Swansea Boys Club site which along with a redevelopment of the site and an associated roof extension will pave the way for 23 one-bed apartments.
The existing site comprises a part- two, part- three storey detached building which was originally used as a social club but has not been occupied for a significant period and has been bordered up for security.
Since the application was lodged, there have been a number of antisocial behaviour incidents at the site, including small fires and a large fire which caused significant damage to the building.
